b. What are the advantages of using telehealth programmes?

The advantage of telehealth for healthcare providers and patients is that these services can be faster, safer, more effective, and less expensive in the long run, especially during a time like the COVID-19 pandemic, where telehealth has allowed access to medical care without going to hospitals to protect patients and hospital staff from being exposed to the infection.

c. Why, according to Dr. Chang, is the telehealth service growing rapidly?

According to Dr. Chang, the telehealth service is growing rapidly because of the following reasons:

- Strong social distancing and minimal physical contact precautions during the global COVID-19 pandemic, which have pushed the shift to telehealth and remote consultations as it aids in infection protection

- The shortage of medical professionals when demand is increasing every year due to an aging population and more and more patients with chronic and non-communicable diseases

d. Why are the patients in remote areas not getting adequate health services?

The patients in remote areas are not getting adequate health services due to insufficient resources and long distances to drive into cities for care.

e. Mention some of the challenges behind telehealth services.

Some of the challenges behind telehealth services are:

- Many hospitals are still facing the lack of infrastructure to implement telehealth successfully, insufficient hardware, and the right technology for each specialty.

- Some hospitals struggle with reliable networking infrastructures like broadband, 4G, or Wi-Fi. This could limit the connectivity within facilities and provide remote care to rural areas or mobile clinics.

- Users face obstacles such as learning to use different tools, online scheduling for virtual visits, triage procedures, and billing policies.

He is at greater risk for a wide number of health conditions. They include asthma, heart disease, diabetes, and sleep disorders. He is more likely to be teased.

Firstly, he should stop eating calorie-rich, sugar-filled and salty snacks. Secondly, he should limit his time with sedentary activities like video games, TV and surfing internet. Finally, he should prohibit himself to stay up all night.

Once children are overweight, it requires a lot of effort and commitment for them to gain normal weight. The most important thing he should do is to engage in at least an hour of physical activity like running, gymnastics, jumping rope, playing soccer, etc. While eating he should turn off TV. He ought to develop healthy habits that may last a lifetime.

Practising healthy eating, exercising regularly and reducing the amount of time spent in sedentary activities are the best ways to prevent his obesity.
