Science and Technology

By Raju Shrestha

October 12

The area which has been vigorously developing day by day, minute by minute and second by second is science and technology. In the dim and distant past, some people used to live a life of animals but the same people are eager to fight with nature. Various discoveries and invention in science have made the human civilization very much above from other creatures, But, due to sense of competition, science has got various destructive aspects over the whole world.

Science has taught to build ships and to travel to distant countries. In order to allow the transfer of knowledge, press has been developed. People have found shape, size, action of the earth, the satellites, the planets, the stars, etc. from the depth of the ocean to the top of Everest. People have been successful to discover or research. People can roam around the earth in no time.

We are living in an age of science with its marvelous deeds at every step. It has also led to the discovery of atomic energy. So, many destructive agents such as bomb, missiles, etc. are made which can destroy not only human beings but also the earth. So, it has negative impact because they are deadliest weapons which can kill many lives and destroy the earth. The bomb dropped by America in. Japan has still its effect on nature and human. So, it has acted as curse.

Science is a great boon for human beings. It is not science which is bad but it is humans who misuse it badly. So, the users of science should always have positive attitude towards science and use it for the welfare of mankind.
