Dear Karan,
It’s been long we
haven’t met each other. Well, I thought New Year would be a good opportunity to
get to know you and our classmates. Therefore, I’d like to invite you to New
Year Party at Lovely Cottage, opposite the bus park at Kirtipur.
To make the party more
interesting, I’ve also invited our classmates. I think they will entertain us
with songs and dance. We’ve planned to start the party at 7 pm and we’ll burst
New Year Balloons sharp at 12, and then we’ll enjoy the whole night with food,
singing, and dancing. You can dress casually in jeans and T-shirt or wear
formal dresses if you like.
Let me tell you that the
cottage has a very beautiful garden with a fountain where we can have some fine
snaps.
Please let me know as
soon as possible if you can come to my little party and how many friends you’d
like to bring with you.

Thank you so much for
your magnificent birthday present. Father and mother are also very happy at it
as I am. How did you know that I needed a table watch. I have been in search of
such a beautiful table watch for quite some time, but could not just find.

Dear Harry,
I’m expressing my
sincere apology for being unable to attend your birthday party.
Actually, on the very
day, I went to market to buy a gift for you. Suddenly, I received the message
that my brother had an accident. As I was so restless, I couldn’t make you a
call. Then, I rushed to the hospital. The doctor advised that he should be
hospitalized for a week. My parents were not in the town. So, it’s my duty to
be with him until his recovery.
I hope you along with
our friends might enjoy the party. Once again, I extend my sincere apology for
my absence.

Dear Rohit,
I sincerely regret my
inability to attend your birthday ceremony. It was an event for which I have
been eagerly looing forward to and I am very disappointed at not being able to
make it.
The sudden illness of my
mother two days before the ceremony put paid to all my plans that day as I took
her to hospital and the whole day was gone in various investigations. She is
stable now.
I would like to invite
you for a cup of tea at 3pm on coming Friday at my place. I marked this date in
my planner so I will not forget it. It must be a great day. I wish you a happy
birthday.
